Bands and Video Games

What are some of your thoughts on bands suing video games for the misuse of their image in the game? Do you think it hurts a band or artist's reputation to have their likeness used for other artist's songs besides their own?

    I think it's fine when they get permission from the Artist. The only time I can think of when it didn't work was when Guitar Hero used Kurt Cobain.
