Recap of The Terminal Bar show!

So, the Terminal Bar show did not end up selling out. We had an alright sized group of people show up non-the-less. It was fun and a good experience. There were some troubles with scheduling for the sound guy. After he did show up there was a problem with the CD player to play the beats for the artists. Eventually, we got it all figured out. The show ran a bit late for starting and finished a bit ealier then anticipated. But I believe that all the artists were very appreciative, as were we. I hope that the show this Wednesday the 16, at the 7th St. Entry goes even better. It would be great to be the class to sell out a room.

Bands and Video Games

What are some of your thoughts on bands suing video games for the misuse of their image in the game? Do you think it hurts a band or artist's reputation to have their likeness used for other artist's songs besides their own?

Colfax Interview

Here is our first mini-interview with the local band Colfax:)

1). What's it like starting up a band in the Minneapolis music scene?

Colfax: "It's alot of fun starting a band in Minneapolis! There are so many places you can play, accepting all sorts of genres. However, since the music scene is so big here, it's highly competitve."

2). What is your favorite memory from a show you've played?

Colfax: "I'd have to say last winter when we played First Ave.'s Main Room. It was a big show for us we had school buses that we organized to bring fans to the show so they could rage it like Colfax fans do! We also had tons of fans from other states who came in for this memorable night."

3). What can we expect from your music in the future?

Colfax: "We have our first album coming out with in the next 2 months which we're pretty excited about. We'll be setting up one hell of a CD Release party so watch for that annoucement soon!"
